Just a trolley ride off the St. Pete Pier, sits a pub called Moon Under
Water. This pub specializes in Indian and British foods. We enjoyed
the British Pub décor as a nice change from the standard Florida
dockside-dining establishments.
They were quite busy in the middle of the afternoon when we were there,
but their staff handled it brilliantly - even with a larger group like
ours. They offer many varieties of British ale, some not usually
found around the area. Their food menu offers many selections common
in the UK, including a wonderful beef pie. One recommendation is to
try one of the curry dishes--not to hot, not to bland -- or the Greek
salad. Even the kids cleaned their plates!
